Come and join in the feast of Smart Card Industry in June, 2008

------The 11th International Fair of Smart Cards, China 2008 & The 6th China (Beijing) RFID International Summits

When SCC (International Fair of Smart Card, China) started to invite domestic and foreign players in smart card industry to present their technologies and equipments in 1998 for meeting the first stage requirement in the construction of the National Golden Cards Projects, it did not dare to expect that the circulation of smart cards in China reached 4 billion pieces in 2007. To highlight the rich achievements of National Golden Cards Project over the past 15 years, and to summarize and promote the experiences in the pilot application of Golden Cards Project in industries and local areas, the State Leading Group Office of Golden Cards Project Coordination will organize a series of high profile activities in June, 2008, to mark the 15th anniversary of National Golden Cards Project.

As one of the major event in the series of memorial activities, “The 11th International Fair of Smart Cards, China 2008” (SCC2008) to be held at China International Exhibition Center during June 4-6, 2008 has gained the rich attentions from the world industry as it is for the first time formally hosted by the state government. International players like Renesas , ST, NXP, Datacard, Basch, Melzer, Boewe Cardtec, Boewe Systec, Evolis, Hitachi, Spatanics, Pyral, Inside, Henkel, Datacon and domestic players like Aisino, Eastcompeace, Tongfang, Shanghai Huahong, CEC, Huada, Datang Microelectronics, Shanghai Changfeng, Colomark, Shenyang Youlian, Shanghai Fudan, Guangzhou Mingsen and Santuo.etc have confirmed their participation on the 10,000 sqm of show floor to showcase their advanced software and hardware technologies in smart card industry for meeting the taste and requirement of the major group users from the Chinese government. Apart from this, the fair organizer is creating two special government pavilions—“The Reporting Pavilion” and “The Display Pavilion for Industrial Application Achievement”. The former is designed to summerize and trace the related regulations and policy orientation for the industry, while the latter is to display the innovative application achievement of related national ministries as well as pilot provinces and cities in the development of the Golden Cards Project. By this will SCC 2008 provide a sound meeting floor between the government and the industry people, between the application users and technology providers. As a smart card exhibition event with the highest authority, the largest scale, the biggest number of exhibitors and the greatest influence in China or even the entire Asia-Pacific, SCC 2008 is becoming the top trade event for domestic and international industry players.

By the way, as one of the scheduled series of memorial activities, the grand Awarding ceremony “The Outstanding Golden Cards Project Achievements Award” and “The 2008 Golden Ant Award of China’s Smart Cards Industry” will be launched at the end of the conference in the Great Hall of the People to honor the outstanding achievements of related government ministries , and to recognize the innovative achievement in the development of technologies and products associated with Golden Cards Project by R&D organizations and related companies. They are the China (Beijing) RFID International Summits, the Forum on the Application of Multifunctional Cards, the Forum on EMV Migration & Small-amount Payment, the Forum on IC Card Security Technologies, ,the Forum on Testing Technologies & Platforms, the Forum on the Status Quo and Development of Foods & Drugs Safety Supervision, and the Forum on Intelligent Transportation & Harmonious Society will also be held.
