Infineon and CCID co-organise Contactless Antenna Design and Testing workshop

In the past years, contactless smart cards have achieved significant penetration into the payment and identification segments. Together with the transportation segment, being the largest taker for contactless smart cards over the years, more and more countries are beginning to have the confidence of rolling out contactless applications for nationwide projects. With this global growth of contactless cards usage, the design of the antennas to suit different applications becomes a real challenge, considering the technical and end-user requirements. This workshop will look at the various considerations required for a proper card antenna design, including the challenges for different application segments.
